SWA works through its partners, including governments, external support agencies, civil society organizations, the private sector, utilities and regulators and community-based organizations. Partners from six constituencies undertake the majority of activities.

Governments

Governments supporting their own domestic implementation of the objectives of SWA

Civil Society

Non-profit organizations or networks active at national, international or regional levels that support SWA’s objectives

External Support Agencies

Bilateral donors, multilateral organizations, foundations, financing institutions and external agencies that support countries’ work in the attainment of SWA’s objectives

Private Sector

Academic institutions or agencies or networks with recognized technical and policy expertise and influence, and global and/or regional remit, undertaking or promoting research or learning in support of SWA objectives

Research and Learning

Academic institutions or agencies or networks with recognized technical and policy expertise and influence, and global and/or regional remit, undertaking or promoting research or learning in support of SWA objectives

Utilities and Regulators

Utilities and regulators actively contribute to achieving the SWA objectives, particularly in the country - influencing policy, linking government and WASH users, and enabling financing.

You will help us to realize these fundamental human rights, leaving no one behind, and bolster our efforts to increase and improve funding for this life-changing sector of development.
