SWA upcoming Partnership Meeting will be held in The Hague, The Netherlands, from 3 to 4 November 2015.

The SWA 2015 Partnership Meeting comes at the perfect time: the new Sustainable Development Agenda has just been adopted, SWA has a new 2015-2020 Strategy and is in the process of finalizing a new governing document, several new members are joining the Partnership, and by November we will have a new Chair and new Steering Committee members. The Partnership Meeting will be an opportunity to get all SWA partners working collaboratively to reach our common goal: sanitation, hygiene and water for all, always and everywhere.

The SWA Partnership Meeting is the opportunity for all partners to reflect on prior efforts and work together to build a Partnership that adds value to each of our individual activities. It gives the opportunity for all partners to help shape SWA’s future direction and to consider the opportunities and implications of the new SDG framework for SWA. This will be one of the key topics for discussion.

The Meeting will bring together representatives of SWA partners (along with some potential partners) from all constituencies: governments, external support agencies, civil society, research and learning institutions, private sector and community-based organizations. A high attendance of partners at the meeting (one representative per partner) is crucial if we are to make the meeting a success and involve all stakeholders in our decisions.
